The Bootcamp
Three Saturday afternoons exploring the musical worlds around Kizomba. Open level overall — the Semba module asks for some Kizomba comfort.
Saturday 17 October 2026 · 15:00–18:00
Konpa is Haiti's signature close-hold partner dance; Zouk comes from the French Caribbean. Both share Kizomba's embrace and bring their own rhythmic flavour.
Saturday 7 November 2026 · 15:00–18:00
The slow, intimate cousin of Kizomba — stripped down to pure connection, minimal footwork, and deep musicality.
Saturday 23 January 2027 · 15:00–18:00 · Dips & Tricks with Musicality
The upright, playful Angolan ancestor of Kizomba — faster tempo, more dynamic partner dialogue, dips and tricks woven into the music.
Three Saturdays · Studio Art Deco 1 · 15:00–18:00. Come on your own or with a partner.
